@markzero I haven't seen that. I can drag anywhere, but if I do it from within the same window, it messes up the view state afterwards.

The Finder also hides the last column (and loses the selection) after you drop a file into it. Why?

@mmc With older versions of PF (and even Greg's Browser, I think), you could freely go up and down the hierarchy without losing state.

@mmc When you go up, it selects the parent but hides the column for the child.

@mmc I always thought they were broken in Finder, losing track of what was selected. Path Finder used to be better, but now it's like Finder
