@fraserspeirs Sorry, I've not used it. The stuff in OCMockObjectTests.m looks pretty standard, but I don't know of a good big example.

via Twitterrific in reply to fraserspeirs

@fraserspeirs I think mocks are one of those things where if you don't already know why you need them, you don't need them.

Just received the MacAddict renewal scam: http://www.maclife.com/f...

It's getting time to post some new BBEdit scripts. I keep taking the old ones down as their functionality is incorporated into the app.

via Twitterrific

@rentzsch And took down half their applications with it. The crash log always shows atsServerDied.

via Twitterrific in reply to rentzsch

@rentzsch *I* can't tell since it didn't happen to me. But lots of users report to me that they were doing something in Word when it crashed

via Twitterrific in reply to rentzsch

Another crash report saying Word took down several applications with it.

via Twitterrific

@joemaller Yeah, I will advise customers that it's compatible and that they just need to reinstall.

via Twitterrific in reply to joemaller

@joemaller It will only grab everything if you don't install the plug-in.

via Twitterrific in reply to joemaller

@leebennett I don't see why not. Does Paul know? It's not on the status.

via Twitterrific in reply to leebennett

Frustrated that Spotlight won't let me eject a disk.

via Twitterrific

@leebennett For ants I like Terro Liquid Ant Baits.

via Twitterrific in reply to leebennett

Well, it used to look more flat, like a pizza. Now it's more like a pinwheel.

via Twitterrific

Fighting QuickBooks. Again.

via Twitterrific

I know the browser will use the print stylesheet when printing, but I simply wanted to read the cleaner layout on-screen.

via Twitterrific

I hate it when the Print link on a Web page is just a shortcut for File>Print. I wanted the print-optimized stylesheet.

via Twitterrific

Responding to a blog comment.

iPhonized the front page of the comments admin area.

This day hasn't gone at all as I expected, but at least it was productive.

via Twitterrific

Zapping the font cache. Again.

What to do when a reply to a customer bounces? His order confirmation got through a couple hours ago.

via Twitterrific

@danielpunkass Amazing how well that works, isn't it?

via Twitterrific in reply to danielpunkass

Didn't the extension used to be something longer than ".baseconfig"?

via Twitterrific

A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first unit test.

via Twitterrific

A customer's getting serial number lookups that he didn't request.

via Twitterrific

@danielpunkass Do you use BBEdit? If so, I have some scripts that may be of use.

via Twitterrific in reply to danielpunkass

Looking at another corpus file that was partially overwritten by other files on the drive.

via Twitterrific

Adjusting .htaccess.

via Twitterrific

Changing AppleScripts on site to compiled format.

via Twitterrific

No, that was never a feature of my app.

via Twitterrific

@particlenparcel I thought the idea was that because you have a number you don't have to get in line until it's your boarding group's turn.

via Twitterrific in reply to particlenparcel

Replying to another blog post thanks to Mint.

via Twitterrific

DTS was helpful this time. Of course, the answer is that it's a bug in Tiger. They asked for a Radar, so maybe in 10.4.13...

via Twitterrific

@mgrimes Agreed, but this repository I hadn't packed at all.

via Twitterrific in reply to mgrimes

How did I forget to "git gc" that repository?

via Twitterrific

Wishing I'd kept a list of all the e-mail aliases I've given out.

via Twitterrific

Deleting forum spam.

via Twitterrific

@ccgus I'd feel bad letting the incidents just expire, though...

via Twitterrific in reply to ccgus

@ccgus I've gotten responses nearly every time, but usually after 1-2 months, and none have actually been helpful.

Asking DTS why they haven't answered my question in nearly three months.

via Twitterrific

Frustrated with color spaces.

via Twitterrific

Switched from Acrobat to Preview icons--at last.

via Twitterrific

@mgrimes I'll bet it was fun to write, though. :-)

via Twitterrific in reply to mgrimes

@mgrimes I just don't understand what problem it's trying to solve. Even if I wanted to use Lisp, why not use the CL-ObjC bridge?

via Twitterrific in reply to mgrimes

Wondering if there's a reason I'd want to use Nu.
