Your backup procedures and the new DropDMG features have me kind of intrigued. Your backup posting gives a great overview of what you're doing, but I wonder if you have considered writing more detailed instructions for how you're doing your backups. Especially for the processes which use DropDMG, it seems like that would help sell copies.

Myself, I have an external hot-swappable hard disk which I use with Retrospect to do daily onsite and weekly offsite backups. But I would really like to do monthly or quarterly backups to DVDs, for storing in a safe deposit box. Encrypted compressed disc images sound like a good way to go. Would love to have more details on your procedures to help me figure out how to accomplish this...
