		<description>Apple has done extensive marketing on this issue and their conclusion is that people really don't like the rental model. I don't see why we should doubt this. I know it matches my preferences. In addition, I would be very surprised if Apple didn't have software waiting in the wings to allow subscriptions if the market demands it. It is probably more of a licensing issue than a technical one.</description>
