		<description>It seems MS aliases all fonts in the list, even 10 point Monaco, unlike text in BBEdit or an MS text document. 

The text-smoothing preference does not seem to affect text in the list, only in messages.

Reminds me of one of Gruber's Daring Fireball entries re Safari and anti-aliasing.

Do you stick with Lucida Grande then? What about for messages?</description>

Right now I'm using the default Lucida Grande for the lists and ProFont 9 for the messages.
